The Chennai LiveWires are the new life-line of Chennai Ultimate Frisbee. Most of the LiveWire players have been playing for about a year now as part of the unified Chennai Ultimate team. Now they test new waters with a team of their own. These players have grown up on the sands of the Beasant Nagar beach and are known for their fleeting speed and the pace with which they move the Frisbee across the field. The LiveWires are a varied bunch of people from the age of 20 to 39. They hail from various walks of life like the shipping industry, auto-industry, hi-tech industry, education, entrepreneurs, etc. But all of them have one common bond, they all believe that their life is only as heavy as 175grams!
